Perkins is a baller. 2nd as a Sophomore then comes back from a bad year to get 2nd AGAIN. All of this done at a Military Academy! Those guys have A LOT of other things on their plate besides academics and running.

I have no issue with Soratos sitting back, since everyone else did too, but I do have an issue with Soratos talking about how he hates jog and sprint races and then doing that. I don't know if he was just afraid of the wind or what, but that kinda sucked.
71 for the second lap? Did I hear that right?
I think it would have been more entertaining to have a commercial break. Yawn. My grandma can run 3:54.

This in a nutshell is what's wrong with track and why no one gives a crap.
Great kick considering how far back he was and who he was up against but second championship race for him where we would say: "Another 10 meters and he would have won it"
It's worth noting that Noelle transferred to Oklahoma STate from Oregon.
Jonathan Gault tells me that's the slowest winning time ever. He saw it in a tweet from the USTFCCCA.
Place Name Affiliation Time Heat (Pl)

Did anybody see that guy just take a header in the steeple? Was that Ferlic from Michigan?
Rawson is talking about the steeplechase origin again.
These steeplers forgot how to steeple...

Kenyan guy from Louisville, Ferlic had to dance around it though.
There was a crash a lap or two before that in water pit.
Wow I thought we were about to have an American winner but Rotich held him off!!
Same top 3 as last year. Jonathan Gault nailed it in our predictions and will be receiving a bonus.
High school meets are more exciting than this crap because the runners are working hard throughout the race and testing their limits. Jesus Christ, a 3:54 won the 1500m? I understand the need to be strategically sound, but come on. That's embarrassing. Like I said, high school track is way, way more exciting.
Wow, Rotich almost lost thanks to his poor hurdle form. At the water pit he stutter-stepped so hard that Kebenei closed like a 4 metre gap and was able to go over the barrier right next to him. Same thing happened on the last barrier (although then Kebenei had a smaller gap to close).
I wonder if Kebenei should have made this a harder race and pushed for that 8:20 barrier, his better hurdling would have allowed him to create gaps coming off of barriers and he may have took the stung out of Rotich's final 100m kick.

I blame Mo Farah personally.

In 1954, Bill Dellinger won (mile) in 4:13.8. Today's winner converts to 4:13.75. Considering 1500 & mile equivalents, this is the slowest winner since Dellinger.
9.75 for Andre De Grasse!!!
+2.7 wind (so not legal)
But incredible.
Bromell 2nd in 9.88.
OH CANADA!!!!!!!!!
DE GRASSE THE NEXT SPRINTING GENERATION
HEART OF A POLAR BEAR
SPEED OF A CARIBOU
Commentator says "will Bromell make it a double?" in reference to the 200m, right after he loses the 100. A for effort ESPN
