Slightly off-topic but what the Daily Mail and British Government did to poor Zola Budd was just as criminal. She shouldn't have been in LA in the first place.

No, I previously thought she was doping in 1992.
So nothing much has changed. I have no way of knowing whether she doped from an early age or began later when she might have wanted to extend her competitive running career. Perhaps she was clean earlier, but it was a dirty era.
I do think her results might warrant an asterisk beside them.
Perhaps we need to put an asterisk beside the NPO results too.

Obviously that should be 1996.
Theriot was a huge doper as well. Did absolutely nothing for 4 years at UCLA, I think his PRs were 1:51 and 4:12, then he starts running pro and drops to 1:46 and 3:56.
Everybody at the elite professional level is or has done something illegal to get where they're at. Not just NOP but probably most of the camps in this country and others. Doesn't change my opinion of anyone.
I wonder how Slaney feels now that Alberto tells others that he wasn't coaching Slaney during the T/E ratio problem? In the past they both covered each other but now Alberto claims that Mary went rogue.
