Oregon is better. No excuses, just results. Andy Powell is underrated and remains underrated, just not at Oregon, where he continues to rack up titles. and prandini didn't even compete. So much for the haters.

Why do you keep starting these threads?
And why do you keep using different user names?
mouusa had a solid 10k and that is nothing to shy away from but oregon is a better program based on results. nats will be a exciting, though without devon allen, it will be hard for the men to get the title.

Chime in after NCAA's.
Why do you keep posting about others who keep posting? It's like you don't get it. And you keep using the same username?

I don't think anyone has ever argued whether Oregon is better than CU at track. We know it and accept it.
The difference is what Colorado does against Oregon over 10k, with a full team of kids Wetmore developed from age 18. If I'm not mistaken, 2 or 3 of Oregon's top 5 3000-5000m studs from this indoor season were transfers.
I'm pretty sure you're trolling anyway, and Colorado actually did outscore Oregon if you're only counting distance races.
Wetmore's job is track coach. At a state University he should represent all of the events. He is a poor coach-if you go by results.
More evidence to support the thread after Penn Relays where it was pointed out that Oregon is classless.
I am pretty sure that Wetmore could care less what you think tard.... Uh... actually I know he doesn't tool... He is kicking ass as always and does what he wants... he earned it... Congrats Mark! :-)
Does anybody really, truly care about team scores in track? The whole concept is kind of nonsensical outside of dual meets.
Sometimes the NCAA track title comes down to, basically, a battle between Florida's sprinters versus Oregon's distance runners. Or whatever. Who can score the most points in unrelated events. It's kind of like my gymnastics team trying to beat your ice skating team.

Stop starting these threads and replying to yourself using different names.
A big PR for Marcus. Over a second in the 400 to 45.21. Big Ups to Marcus..

The irony of an Oregon fan hating on another school for being successful...
Oregon is the better track program
Colorado is the better xc program
Both of those things are true and can't be argued.

LET'S GET REAL: For Ducks Men Ches and Jenkins only ran the 5k. Put them in the 1500 (either one) and 10K (Ches) and Oregon wins 3 out of 4. So, scoring would be:
53 Colorado (at best)
64 Oregon (at worst; considering Geohegan and Gregorek didn't compete)
By the way, Oregon doesn't have any more scholarships to offer than Colorado or any other D1 team to build their complete XC and T&F squads. Colorado has a great XC and good/great outdoor distance program. But, if the we are looking at overall best XC and indoor/outdoor T&F then look at USTFCCA Program of the year (based on team performance at Nat'l XC, Nat'l Indoor and Nat'l Outdoor Champs). For both men and women there is no doubt which school has dominated for the past six years, and likely seven after the Nat'l Outdoor Champs this June.
