I must admit when I read the initial report I thought Robert Kraft's denials seemed absurd. But having read the entire Patriots response, I think the Patriots are vinidcated. If you are a fan of the NFL, you have to spend an hour reading the Patriots response in full. It's VERY persuasive:http://wellsreportcontext.com/The NFL's entire report that Brady/the Pats are cheats was based on three things1) Ignoring what pressure gauge the head referee said he used to measure the Patriot's balls pregame.
the Patriots wrote:
MR. ANDERSON SPECIFICALLY RECALLS THAT HE USED THE LOGO GAUGE FOR THESE PRE-GAME MEASUREMENTS (pg. 52). (This is the only recollection of Mr. Anderson that the report rejects...... However, when assessing the Patriots footballs, the investigators reject Anderson’s best recollection that he used the Logo gauge pre-game, and instead look to the larger psi drop that is shown by the lower psi, non-Logo gauge.
If you believe the official was correct in what gauge he used, then the Patirots drop in airpressure is fully explained by the Ideal Gas Law.

2) Assuming sinister things based on the text messages referring to a guy as a 'deflator'. In reality, deflator is a term he clearly used in reference to his desire to lose weight. Moreover, the 'stress' the guy was talking about in one text was the fact that his family member was having memory loss and he was having trouble selling their season tickets.

3) A belief that the Patriots/Brady didn't cooperate with the investigation. It seems to me that they did as they already had any texts Tom Brady sent the guys as they had the equipment guys phones.
Don't assume anything. Read the report here:
