Who cares. $1.3 trillion.
Focus less on campus perks. Focus more on projected ROI.
I was impressed with Pepperdine but then I lent to NYU and havent visited many others
Oklahoma State University has a nice campus - but Ive only ever been to this one!

Colgate University was voted the most beautiful campus in America again this year.

As a Stanford alum, I have to disagree. Central campus used to be absolutely gorgeous, but in the past 20 years it's been ruined by overdevelopment. Even with all the open space around, it feels crowded with a conflicting mish-mash of architectural styles.

I live in NJ it ain't really that shitty, unless you're in newark, then i can see why you complain. New Jersey has a lot to offer in terms of beauty and the people too. We have many great diners, pizzerias, beautiful hiking trails, bagel shops, et cetera. Don't say anything about my state before you lived here at least 15 years and seen everything. I am not proud of Bruce Springsteen, i wish he were from another state, but it seems like everyone loves to boast about him coming from the garden state. Our teachers here get paid phenomenally and yet they still complain about not having enough? Weirdos. Also, i do enjoy our beaches they are clean, and i have been to Bermuda and the Caribbean islands, so i have the right to say what nice beaches look like.
if you're into architecture Illinois-Urbana's campus is unbeatable. Only the campus is pretty though.

I hear that Middlebury has its own XC course?
Pepperdine. I know nothing about the school, and I'm sure it's kind of a pain in the ass with all the hills and the fact that it's off the PCH, but easily the most beautiful campus I've seen.

Middlebury's also pretty cool if you like that sort of thing.

Wow, that clinches it, Middlebury is the best.
Are you serious, an xc course, so what, the school is in the middle of nowhere.
University of Minnesota Morris,
Colombia,
Arizona State University
Mizzou is actually quite beautiful. Francis Quadrangle is very unique with its columns, and the entire campus is a botanic garden. Columbia is also one of the nicer college downtown areas, too.
A few pics...

Talk about bad marketing. I went to the Colgate website to see pictures. Couldn't find one after searching for 1 minute.
Somehow, you would think that they would put a couple pictures of the campus, since it was ranked most beautiful campus.
It is quite a beautiful campus (had to go to google images to see what it looks like however...).
I went to two universities that have better than average campuses, based on the campuses that I have visited: Indiana University and Miami University (Ohio). I also enjoy the small campuses of some New England liberal arts college. The architecture at University of Chicago is beautiful.
Cambridge University
Middlebury is the most beautiful campus I've seen
I haven't been to a ton of colleges, but I really like Georgetown's campus - green, stately, and in the middle of a nice part of DC.
