You seem to know the brand. Have you tried the Eliot track jacket?

Why is everyone wearing tracksmith these days?
Everyone's a bunch of lemmings
Aren't they closing down?
I'm a master's runner who jumped into a mile indoor race last winter to try and break 5 min. I was dead last at the end of the first lap but kept a steady pace. I ended up running 4:59.9 and smoking a guy decked out in Tracksmith crap. I was wearing a $1 clearance Russell singlet, some $10 clearance Asics 5 inch shorts, and $17 clearance Saucony Endorphin spikes. Everything I raced in cost me less than $30 and this guy's jock cost more than that. Pathetic. Not gonna lie...it felt good to blow past that guy.

You’re overthinking people’s choice of clothing.
I’ve got some twilight singlets, twilight splits, and long sleeve twilight shirts. Love them all. Though they retain an odor easier thanother running clothes I have. But the feel and style of them is nice.
Also got a couple pairs of their socks. Wouldn’t recommend them as they fall apart way, way too quickly.
Also got the Olmsted bag. It’s quite nice quality.

Like the swoosh.
Limited edition let's do some simple addition
I'll never understand people getting bent out of shape over the price of things they don't have to buy. Make more money and you'll understand how the value of a dollar shrinks the more of them you have.
Anywho... I dig the classic style.

I never mentioned the price of things. Were you replying to someone else? Anywho, anyone have their track jacket?

It was a general statement. A few people were bent out of shape over the prices.
Thing that bothers me about this company is they started out justifying their high prices with domestic, made in the USA production. Which is fine, I don't mind paying more to support local industries. However, they've off shored their production, without lowering their prices to reflect their MUCH lower production costs. And they still try and trade on the made in the USA branding, without really telling anyone they aren't a Made in the USA company anymore.

this
$20 Nike splits that are on sale versus $48 Tracksmith splits. No thx track smith.
The people that buy Tracksmith are the same people that spend $200 on a pair of jeans. Levis work for me.

This humble bragging about frugality is silly.
For most people with disposable income, there are things they spend more money on than absolutely necessary, and things they're more nonchalant about. For you, clothes appear to be in the second category. For me, cars, among other things, are in that second category. But my being completely fine with having a 2008 Honda Fit doesn't make me a better person than someone who enjoys having a nicer, newer car. And my spending a little more than necessary for higher-quality running gear doesn't make me a dupe.
Extreme Couponing: LetsRun Edition.
why'd this 3 year old thread get bumped?
btw- have 2 pair of their shorts and I really like them.
Session shorts look good on skinny dudes, have a liner, and the only decent running shorts I have found with a pocket big enough for my iPhone. I love it.
Never heard of tracksmith clothes until this thread.
They are ugly.
