The WNBA has two maybe three teams that field more than 5000 fans per game. In the state of Connecticut, where women's college basketball is the number one viewing sport (unreal, really, un friggin real), they barely get 6500 for the local WNBA team, but get well over 9000 for the UConn womens team. Which, by the way could beat about 90% of all the WNBA teams.
Who cares how much a WNBA player gets paid?
I mean, who, the-hell, watches that????
If the WNBA had their championship game in my basement, I would not get off my living room couch to go watch it.
In fact, I would probably close the door to the basement and tell them to keep the noise down.
