Definitely the 800 meters, jumping into a few 1500's once in a while for training.
I like the idea of cramming a lot of quality into tolerable amount of mileage. I also can't wait to get to the track and run 200's, 400's, 600's. I loathe mile repeats and longer tempos and idea of cranking out 100mpw is no life I want to live, no matter much I love to run.
If I was born with any fast twitch muscles, the decathlon. I think I could do well now in the running events and most of the field events except anything where I would have to jump.
