Is that yellow haze indicative of fine sand/dirt dust in the air (from construction, wind stir-up, etc.)?

I can't see bekele right now. Is he still up there?
At 30K, 15 men in the lead group still on pace for 2:04. That alone is pretty amazing even though they're not on track for CR or WR. Not all will run that time, but that's still a big pack for that kind of pace that late in the race.

I don't see him either
Bekele is suffering out back ... really bad
Just a reminder the Dubai isn't all it seems;

Also, I can't see Bekele either - or maybe that's him 30m back. He has dropped. Dang.
Bekele has dropped from the lead pack. He's gone.
Just saw him looking like he was falling off the back at 1:25ish. Bummer. Going to bed soon if that's the case.
He's falling off hard
That's Bekele off the back.

Koech looks like he is just waiting to make a move.
Koech's left knee looks like it's about to fall off. I can't even look at it. That guy is going to have some lateral knee issues later on in life.
The TV/internet coverages of those marathons are terrible compared to this, so from a viewer's perspective, I can't agree. And from a runner's perspective, desiring a fast time, I can't agree.
28km was 2:58
Whelp that sucks. Wanted to see Bekele do well

BEKELE DROPPED
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
25km split was 1:13:57
Kenny is falling off the back badly.

Tufa through 25 km and hasn't slowed yet. She would be #2 all-time behind Paula if she kept that pace
She's powering on. Really impressive solo run.
LOL at all the fat Indian women walking their way to a 7 hour marathon on the other side of the road.

Maybe he should just drop out.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
