a 7'33 in a hard race for him best circa millennium shows no great endurance when hicham had 7'23
if not endurance, how on earth did bernie run 3'26+ ???
utter nonsense
he didn't even run a 800 in his peak 1500 year of '01 !!!
in '04 in his 3'27+ year, he ran a 1'46.9 in april when i doubt he had done any speedwork at all but just an 800 off heavy mileage
how many times do you have to be told that he ran 1'46+ in last 800 of athens, a last 800 which was for all intents/purposes a quickening last 800 ???!!!
you don't run 3'26+ off then ~ 7'33 endurance
you run 3'26+ because of some incredible 800 speed
see athens for umpteenth time
utter nonsense
noah split 1'44.6 off suicidal 49.8+ with something like ~ 6m extra on 1st bend
noah had no great endurance at 4'50pb
utter nonsense
according to you, for a 999m race they are rubbish, but if that race is 1000m, they become "superhuman" ???
complete rubbish
utter nonsense
bernie's 7'33 doesn't compare to 3'26+ nor does noah's 4'50 with 3'43+
those over-distance times are embarassing
eh ???
there wasn't a 3'27 performance between '04 & '13
so where are the superfast 1500s in those 9 years ???
utter nonsense
noah already split 1'44.6 off a suicidal 49.8+ with something like 6m extra on 1st bend with fatigue off a 3'29.1 win in his legs from 44 hours before
what on earth do you think he couda run for a 800 in rieti in his "perfect" race given a good few days rest ???
you are clueless if you think i don't take "medical" considerations into account
there weren't any
utter nonsense
that calculator works with good input & putting in nonsense 4'50 or 7'33 is nonsense input
i estimate noah's line of fit in a fully rested rieti effort as very similar to bernie of '01 as both :
~ 46.25 / 1'41.5 ->
2'10.50
3'25.62
3'42.44
the 800/1k i wouda expected if they ran a few "proper" 800s on circuit & got "perfect" 800 race in peak 1500 or mile shape, but this is off only 1500 training
off not enough speed training & too much endurance training for a 800/1k
the 1500/mile times were beyond them as those distances were beyond there ideal race distance & they didn't "last" to 1500 or mile
what you can never seem to comprehend, is that even though noah ran 3'43.4, the mile was somewhat far beyond his ideal racing distance, similar to a more obvious example of kaki running an impressive 3'31+ when everyone knew it was far beyond his ideal race distance
kaki at his 800 peak wouda been looking at 3'28/3'29 if his "distance" extended "perfectly" to 1500 of his "pure" 800 training, but 3'31+ was still impressive
what you seem incapable of comprehending with your sole neurone is that noah/bernie were a similar example to kaki, but less exaggerated in 1500/mile deficiency
noah/bernie's best distance was something like 800/1k, but the blue riband event was 1500 & that is what they concentrated on although not best event
