For this one, unless someone already pointed it out...in which case sorry for the repeat.
Looking at the times they went from running a much slower pace from miles 1-10, then both of them ran a much faster pace ... 20:03 - 5k split from Mile 10 to the halfway point at mile 13.1. Since that is along that one road how is that possible? Also after running different paces until mile 10, they both had the EXACT SAME split from mile 10 to 13.1. Only way possible is if they are together through that section? So all of a sudden you can drop pace to 6:27/mile after mile 10 on a section of the course that is straight? IN the middle 26.2 you all of a sudden are running what could possible be 5k PR pace for someone with a much faster "predicted" marathon goal.? (see calculator at

At first I thought that they somehow cut off the race track, but the Mile 10 timing mat is well past the race track.
Also, how is his finishing clock time and chip time the same? unless he started with first group and waited for her. Would explain how the split from mile 5 to 10 is the same for both of them.
Any thoughts on this?
