Im a junior, gpa is 3.4 but im really fast. My 1600m is 4:40, 2 mile is 10:05 and my 5k is 16:20 this xc season on a really fast course. My goal this season is sub 4:30, if I run 4:29 will I have a good shot?

Prob not for your sake. BC with a 3.4GPA you aren't ready for the academics. You prob will end up out of there after the 1st semester.
The 5 C ' s have the common 'white dilution' admissions strategy. So if you are EA the numerical racial quotas will push your chances down even further.
You better be a girl with those grades
with the name DerekJtr and a goal of sub 4:30, I'd assume you are male. The GPA is not even close. These are very good schools. You also need high SATs.
Over 1 out of 5 students at Pomona were their high school's class valedictorian.

1/10 Too much emphasis on the "really fast." You got some bites but I'm guessing not for what you were trolling for. Good practice but you're not quite there yet young Jedi.
I think Pomona may be out of the question but I think you got a small shot at Pitzer. If you really focus on your grades the next semester and get your GPA to around a 3.6. Pitzer is really wants to see applicants fit with their core values. Check them out on their website. I don't think its out of the question man. keep working hard and you could get a tip.
Both of these are schools for Stanford rejects. The fact that you don't think you have a shot at Stanford, or at least Cal, tells me you won't get in.
