Three straight boys team titles and one NXN appearance. They just graduated a big class but have some underclassmen that will keep them in the title hunt. This group that graduated were guys that grew up running with the Bowerman Track Club who live primarily on the west side of town. Crossing the river to attend Central was a big coup. It will be interesting to see if that trend continues. Ordinarily those kids would have gone to Jesuit (private) or Sunset (public).
Girls: South Eugene
Four different teams have one the last five state titles. South Eugene (2), Sunset, Grant and Jesuit. Jesuit won 9 in a row ending in 2009 when the meet was less competitive at the front. In the last 5 years there have been a group of standouts that have changed the team race by making the race faster overall. Jesuit has not had the low stick to keep their deep roster in the race.

On the guys side no one team is super dominate so I'd say:
Ridgefield, New Milford, Danbury, and Xavier (Xavier currently isn't that good but if we're looking at the past 5 years then they belong here)
Girls:
Tolland, Glastonbury, Ridgefield, and maybe Guilford (Like Xavier, Guilford currently isn't as good as they used to be)
Tolland is the most dominate, they went 1-5 at their state class meet, but Glastonbury is the most consistent.
Kentucky:
Boys - St Xavier
Girls - Assumption
Over the last five years it's been Bozeman, Montana for both boys and girls. The girls have a streak of 8 in winning state and the boys have a streak of 7. The girls team made NXN in 2010 (2nd to Jesuit at NXNNW) and 2013 (winning over Bellarmine Prep at NXNNW). The Bozeman boys team had their best NXNNW finish in 2010 taking 7th.

+1, Does anybody know what Waterford Mott's training consist of? They have come very strong these past years.
NY:
F-M boys and girls.
BUT- NY also has, arguably, the best girls League in the nation:
Check out the Southern Tier Athletic Conference:
3 girls to nationals.
Not counting the teams, did any other league have 3 girls make it as individuals? And, they came out of the toughest region.

I didn't go there, however a teammate of mine did. I'm not sure how their training is structured, I do know it is very high mileage program.

Great Oak has been very strong the last couple of years, but Saugus probably gets the nod over a 5 year (or longer) stretch.
