Finishing 1-2 and having a team place 6th is pretty weak especially when ranked #2 coming in.
It does show just how hard it is to be on top. All have to run to their potential on the day. Even a 20sec slowdown by a 5th man is a disaster. That can mean 40+ places/points.

I watched Cheserek after the race and when he was interviewed. Quite honestly, this kid looks like he should still be in high school. I mean he is a little guy and his face looks like he is about 17 years old-no way is he your typical age cheater. Just sayin'
Because there are other up and coming program like NAU. Mike smith built it into a power house
Mike Smith is doing great but he did not build that program. He inherited it and continues to do extremely well.
