Hey guys,
So I am obsessed with running and peaked too soon in the summer because I don't have a great coach. I pr'd during the summer in my first 5k race of the season (right before september- we start early) and clocked in a 16:45. I was extremely happy because I worked hard but also questionable because I also wanted to peak in November at states. Anyways, I had a terrible season clocking 18 min 5k's and at states I got 19min. Was extremely depressed and my coach was angry with me because I didn't get a top place (got like 200th, I know it sucks.) Now Im depressed and don't want to run anymore. I feel like Im getting disappointed every season. I want to run in college but Im not fast enough.. I work extremely hard but get nothing. Any advice? tips? should i quit? I love running by the way.
