Team is looking pretty good right now. Solid progress but kid are a little tired and frayed. Hot valley, bad air.
We have our mid season league meet on wed. I've backed off the accelerator pretty well the last few days, so they should be fresh and ready to race. We don't have a whole lot of anything important for most of my varsity kids until Oct 18.
Planning on giving them 2 days off from practice + the weekend (4 days total) to do unstructured, easy running, take a day or two off if needed, or if they are feeling good, get a couple of good long runs in.
After that, I was going to go back and hit a period of solid mileage and moderate tempo to re-build a little bit of the aerobic house that might have fallen back a bit.
