On the other hand, I do fartleks, or 200/400/800 repeats on the reservoir and I feel very awkward passing people on repeats at sub 6:00 pace, only to recover at 9:00-10:00 pace right after, and doing all over again.
I try to be courteous but that feels like yoyo-ing (esp. with 200m!). Never heard anything negative though.
More importantly: when will the reservoir work be completed? I had not even known it was going to happen until I discovered it the hard way last Thursday.
exactly - doing speedwork on my own in the park always looks like I am racing people. But so be it.
Yeah - 200 on, 30 seconds off seems to be 8 minute pace or something like that so you keep seeing the same people.
I think the res work will be done during the winter.
