Let's say that as a part of this lawsuit, WeJo is forced to post every single person's name next to every single post ever made (presuming this was possible). Would you be ashamed? Proud?
So instead of "X_Fit_The_Real_1" it would say "Anthony Johnson"
I know I'd feel kind of bad about some of my posts, and I try to to be civil and nice on here. I was thinking about this on my run today.
LOL. If the "thing to do" on this board was to sign my real name, I'd do that. It isn't, so I use a very transparent handle [except for a few occasions when I did use my real name]. And of course no one cares who I am because I'm just some nobody, which is probably true of 90+% of LRC posters.
Having said all that, I will add that I've posted things on this board that I regret, not because my name could/would have been attached to those posts, but because they were ill-considered and turned out to cause people pain.
I basically see posting here as a form of entertainment, but I also believe I've learned some things about how seemingly trivial actions can have consequences, and that being called out on some of my misbehavior on this board has made me [at least a marginally] better person.
