Hi guys just needed some help organising my training schedule. Both weights and running are for sport so neither are accessory to the other. I will be lifting low reps high weight twice a week. Most sources say sprints are cns intensive so i think separating them from the weights is a good idea but feel free to correct me because initially i didn't think they would need a lot of recovery.
Mon: Weights
Wed: Sprints (full recovery)
Fri: weights
My question is where should i put a lactate threshold run and vo2max/1500m pace intervals and why? maybe something like this?
Mon: Weights
Wed: Sprints (full recovery), Intervals
Fri: Weights, Threshold run
I will also be doing some slower distance running but just wanted to sort my workouts first.
