Today's workout session:
1 mile warm-up slow run from my house to the track
20m A Skips
20m B Skips
20m Side Shuffle
20m Karaoke
20m Lungees
20x knee drives on the bleachers
20x standing on toes for calf stretch
4 100m strides
3x20m acceleration starts w/ 30 seconds rest
3x30m acceleration starts w/ 30 seconds rest
5x20m Push-up starts (like the ones Ryan Hall did in the previously posted video)
4x200m repeats in lane 9, with a walk back to the start line rest break (times 27.1, 27.6, 27.4, 27.7)
Cooldown slow run back to my house
Short break and then 20lb free weights, 10+ different exercises, 10x each (10x curls, 10x shoulder press, etc)
Result: slightly sore from yesterday's workout, probably because I'm not used to sprint work.
