Anyway, I got booted off the board for a while for no reason anyone ever told me and all of a sudden I could post again >>
Happened to me once for no good reason either. I got back on and it hasn't happened again.

You forgot little Mike Siemers! Well, not really but maybe one day.

Is Caprioti from Bloom the Nike guy? I recall racing against him and the rest of that team in HS. Didn't Caprioti go to Triton or DuPage for awhile?
Same guy. Cap followed Bloom coach Steve Miller to Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo. Both were later head coaches at Kansas State before moving to Nike, where Cap is still employed. Most of his family is still in Chicago Heights, as are many other members of those teams.
They did forget Scott Siemers who went down state on 3 fenton xc teams.
\Question: Is Lee LaBadie from Illinois? If not, where? Thanks.
LaBadie went to Maine West in Des Plaines.
What about my teammate Victor Burns?
And how many kids from down south got all state between me and Pfieffer? You could count 'em on one hand! You gotta want it. I didn't even have a track. My dad Vernon wanted me to help on the farm while I was busting out 60 miles a week. I tell you it was tough down here. Take my coach, please. I had to drive 10 miles just to get to the Multiplex over in Hooterville, I mean Belleville.
Are you trying to be Virgin or Rodney Dangerfield?? You have a disease and it is called poser identity crisis. There is only one cure you must stop posting until the Prosac kicks in.
How about two more Past Loyola guys. I saw Marc Burns and Eddie Slowikowski, but no one has mentioned Tom O'Hara, World Recored Holder in mile at 3:56.4 and Olympic team member and a 3:38.1 1500 runner. Also Jim Westphal was a numerous All American sub 9 3200 in high school, 4:07 mile at Loyola, 7:55 3k,13:45 5k and a 29:02 10k. He was also on a couple of USA XC teams in the early 90's.
EVERYBOD KNOWS J.T. RAN UNDER 14MINS. FRIGGIN POLITICS!
What politics? JT ran 14 flat at the IL state course and never broke under that. So what are you referring to?
can't think of a better Peoria area rivalry than Broe vs. White. those two went at it.
