is there a place in base phase for strict form runs, for example an 8 mile aerobic run is there any benefit in doing mile warm up 6 miles strict on your toes then a mile cool down all at an aerobic effort but the muscular development in my opinion would be huge?
would greatly appreciate other peoples information I would understand completely if I have not been clear in what I am trying to ask as it was just a thought that popped into my head, if you can hold good form for 6+miles at a steady effort then when it comes to track season in spikes you would be able to stay on your toes a lot better when fatigue starts to set in
