Does anybody know who the eff wrote the training schedule of El G?
Please, I really want to turn this in a serious discussion.
As we all know, the famous schedule where he runs always between 30-50 mins at 2:50-3:10 min/km is clearly impossible to handle, no matter what kind of drugs he may or may not have been taken.
I don't say it's impossible to run a few fast runs per week, but always? Only LONG, HARD runs?
45 min in the morning followed by 45 min in the evening, the same for the two following days, then intervals in the morning, then again 45 min at 3:00/km?
Plus, these runs were not run at a track under perfect conditions, but in the woods, on sand tracks, sharp turns, some light hills???
Also, there was some critique from insiders (?) who said he didn't train like this at all.
It just doesn't make sense to me, always the same training.
Very few recovery runs, no long runs?
So I'd really like to find out where the training log comes from.
Any insight on this?
