Sounds like Flotrack is going downhill fast.

you better not be serious! Alex is the man, and with Ryan are the 2 flotrack guys that make them so good. I love how flotrack provides access to athlete workouts and what not. Hopefully they don't go downhill.

Or Alex is realizing he has been flatlined salary-wise at Flotrack. Good for him finding a better job. Flotrack is not making the money you all think they are.
Is this for real?
bump
That's a shame. Flotrack was nominated for an Emmy last year, and a Pulitzer several times.
what kind of emmy did they win?
I met him and he is a great guy.
Wish him the best.
What the heck is he gonna do at Adidas?
Also doing commercials for Crest Whitestrips.
Alex was the best announcer on flotrack, this is a sad day for anyone with year long flopro accounts. He is also adorably sexy.
The new guys suck!
I'm getting concerned here - no new run junkie for 2 weeks
It's unfortunate to lose him. The guy doing the Portland Track Festival was terrible, made the event almost unwatchable. Half the things he said we incorrect, he constantly messed up splits and athletes names. Brutal.
Flotrack? The guys who jizz there pants while narrating races? I would literally pay for a flotrack account if these guys shut up. And the run junkie? C'mon...these guys act like Wayne's World, and film in the bottom of their parents basement. But this is the best news I've heard so far this year.

I'll definitely mix Alex (we sat at the same work table every day in Daegu in 2011 and went out to eat a few times), but I found out over the weekend that Flotrack made a big hire to oversee their content across all sites. The new hire is one of my favorite sports journalists with two decades of experience in both print and on-line.
Stay tuned...
Who's left at Flotrack?
Phil Hersh?
is it that one guy from chicago who is the only guy who writes about running? or someone else.
