Jenny Simpson can actually discuss running and racing in an insightful, entertaining way. That makes for a good interview.

What's a "spunk junky"?
It means you are into dudes

Ohh, so since I'm not into the skeletal-looking, flat chested, flat azzed, washed-up-sorrity-girl look, I must be a homosexual. Makes perfect sense.

Love Jenny's interviews. Emma Coburn's interviews are a different story. I'm always too distracted to listen to what she's saying. I must have ADD.
Come on. I think Jenny,s cute.
Anyway, JBS rules as much as the other JBS did! Predictio: she will easily win in Sac. (This means MC won't!)

That's correct
What a shame there are no major track championships in the world every four years.
+1 and +1. I am wondering if maybe the guy is just thinking of someone else. I can see finding Jenny Simpson "refreshing", "kinda out there", or "annoying as all h***". But boring ... sorry, that opinion is incorrect.

Completely agree. Jenny is one of the better interviews in all of American distance running and is generally very emotional (happy or disappointed). Often times I find interviews stink because the person interviewing the athlete asks horrible questions (like asking how a race went - dull!).
strong early season time.
What do you consider "emotion?" Simpson's smiling and laughing through almost every one of her interviews. She obviously enjoys her sport and her success. Isn't that "emotion?"

Please point me in the direction of ONE interesting Jenny Simpson interview where she shows any emotion. Shannon Rowbury is the emotional one, says what she feels and wears her heart on her sleeve.
Try this for Jenny Simpson:

No one said that Shannon R. did not show emotion although she is quite sedate and blah in comparison to Jenny B. Simpson.
Jenny was a standout way back at CU not only for her ability on the track but also the way she expressed herself in her Flo track interviews.

What's up, Go Afrikaaaa? You have a jaw issue? Saw you over on the Vessey thread too. Where you gonna pop up next?

You have to be into goats or something if you're that dumb. One of the hottest out there. And not flat assed.

Go Afrikaaaa, it's a jaw. It's the same one she had in high school. You have issues.
you can watch the race on You Tube - Seiko Golden Grand Prix 2014. I think Jenny and Emma could each shave a couple more seconds off. Beautiful Americans.

Boy Jenny really has turnover in the last 200. It would be interesting if Coburn trained as a 1500 runner. I think she would make USA teams. She is already one of the top 5 or top 10 1500 / milers. Maybe she will leave the Steeple soon? I hope not because someone from the US needs to be on the world stage in that event.
Correct. Japana's Golden Grand Prix series, not DL.
