I know this has been discussed before, but how are track Kennedy's for cross country? I love them for track, but I'm thinking about trying them out for cross. Any surfaces better than others?

I personally have always found them more comfortable on grass even than on the track. Probably not so great for a course with more than just a little bit of sidewalk, or a very rough rocky course, but if you're looking at mostly grass, they're the most comfortable thing out there I think. Except for maybe the vents, but you don't have to worry about wearing down permanent spikes. One thing to be aware of, though, if your calves get sore easily or if you have any kind of calf/achilles injury, it might not be the best idea as I think they get you up on your toes more and can really shred your calves once you get up into an 8k race. Just get used to it first.
I used them all last XC season. I thought they worked just fine. IF you run on a muddy course, the mud is a little hard to clean out of them, but if you're like me and you don't give a f*** what the shoes look like, then you'll be fine.
There are a lot of very cheap deals on old Kennedy track spikes. I would buy them instead of dropping a lot more money on the XC versions that aren't all that much different.
