this track season i wasn't even able to compete because my sprint times were too low and my high jump heights were terrible. it was my first year ever in a school sport. im a junior in high school.I am also one of the weakest sprinters on my team so i didn't really have that much power when i sprinted.
i really want to compete next track season and not only do i want to compete i want to make varsity. the main event i really want to focus on is high jump. i also want to focus on the 200m.
since season is over i don't have access to a high jump mat so what should i do. also what kind of lifts should i do to start preparing myself for next year.
My sprint times were: 15s in the 100, 30-32 in the 200m, and 74s in the 400m.
im a 6ft 1in 165lb 17 year old boy. for my age my sprint times should be: about 10-11 in the 100m, 21-23 in the 200m, and 55-60 in the 400m. My high jump height is terrible. i could never get past 5ft.
