considering i have a 3 mile race coming up in about 20 days, would a 5k race (park run specifically) be better preparation than a training session (mixture of intensities but much higher volume)? the problem with a park run is the competition may not be great which will mean it may be like a solo time trial.
I do train usually 6 days a week Tuesday Thursday saturday hard with long on snday, easy the rest.
Also, should i go all out in the training/race
