Hello! I'm a longtime reader, but first time poster of this great community. I'm running a half marathon in less than 3 weeks (April 4th) and wanted to see if I am completely off base for my goal time for the half.
I've run 7 marathons, ran a few ultras (including a 50 miler last December), and don't often race half marathons. My best time for a marathon is 3:00 and I'm hoping to run a sub 1:20 for the upcoming half. I just ran a 20 mile run last weekend where I had an average pace of 6:52. I've been running about 35-45 miles consistently in training for the upcoming Boston Marathon next month.
I ran a fast 10 mile in 1:02 last week as well. I feel fairly confident, but want to make sure I'm not being unrealistic.
Also, any ideas for last couple of track workouts would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance!
