Emma Coburn is frustrated...calls people out

She should be frustrated. She knows she didn't have the closing speed to win a tactical race. Why others wouldn't try to push the pace from the start to take away some of Cain's kick I have no idea, unless they just wanted an easy race since they knew they were not going to win.

Um, that wasn't a championship race. You are aware that when there is a rabbit and it's a random race in the middle of the season, it's not a championship? I'm a little turned off by what a moron you appear to be.

He knows it wasn't a championship race but was referring to the 'jog and kick' tactics that were used. This tactic is commonly called championship racing. Also, if you saw the race you would know that the rabbit had no effect on the race since the field did not go with her.

I meant championship racing *style*. I should have used the word tactical.

So, the teen-ager, sees how the race goes out and thinks to herself (per post race interview) maybe I'll work on my racing tactics today. While at least one veteran gets frustrated and the others defer to the teenager. It did look as if Moser was trying a different tactic this race as opposed to the pushing the pace as she had been in earlier races. As the announcers said all those fools were playing into Cain's and Lagat's hands by just hanging back. And to think someone on these boards said large fields lead to different tactics. Looked like the same ol' crap to me.

eh - i doubt thats true - her job is to be an entertainer - i think public perception is pretty damn important in her profession?

Exactly. Cain has vicious 400 speed (52-53 range) so no one is going to touch her in the last 400.

She's frustrated because "people" (i.e. Emma Coburn) didn't go with the rabbbit.

Next she'll want some hurdles placed in the race to make it "fair".
