I just took a fantastic job opportunity that I decided to accept. The pay is great, the company is great and the job is something I really enjoy. The only downside is that I will have to work 7 am to 7 pm Monday thru Friday.
Obviously this will make doing any kind of running close to impossible but I'm only twenty three , still a pretty competitive guy and would like to run the occasional marathon here and there.
Has anyone else had a similar experience where they would have to get up around 3:50 am to get in their daily run? This is about the time I will have to get up to get in any kind of decent mileage, especially with my forty minute commute to work every morning. Any other motivational stories about people working similar hours and still training at a somewhat high level (80-90 miles a week) would be much appreciated!
