Bad things about the Nike+ GPS watch? Like what? I've had mine for four years and I've loved it.
I have a Garmin 110 and a Nike+ GPS.
I have this 6 mile course I run- just a basic recovery run through my neighborhood roads.
The Garmin hits 6 miles within a couple hundredths of a mile every time. The Nike has been up to .16 off and it is rarely the same.
As I run I look at my pace per mile- on my Nike I'll be between 7:10- 7:45. I get home, upload it and it'll say 8:10 per mile- weird.
Once (with the Nike) I ran 7 miles, looked at the "results" it read 7.00, 7:50 per mile.
I upload it: 7.0 8:12 per mile.
I emailed Nike and the guy said that it measures in such small increments that it might be off. Huh?
I seem to be a much faster runner with the Garmin.
I have not yet run a race with the Nike- that'll be interesting on a certified course.
