Uh, no. He's a 200/400 specialist. I've never speculated about what Alberto Salazar could have done in the indoor 60 either.
anyone can go out and run: old, slow, fat, ugly, dumb, only athletes can go out and run fast..........
The name says it all:
Distance RUNNERS,
sprinter, runners? I dont think so, not a runner.
And was there a point to your reply?
Bumping a classic thread
I wrote a score to a movie about sprinters. BUT they used WEBB in a Nike ad to the same music so there are some runners associated with it.

In our hearts we know this to be true.
You are correct...runners are inflexible, they shuffle along, whistling at the birds, and, more times than not, end up wearing a boot while their bones calcify back to a normal person.
What about me?
Am I a half breed?
i am so amused by the distance runners on here who think they work so much harder than sprinters. i've run 100 mile weeks. i've dropped down to do some workouts with our sprinters. both can be hard as hell if you make them that way.
Deny as much as you like, but the fact is people become distance runners by default.
Humans want to run the shortest distance possible they can be successful at. If your not great in the 100, you move to the 200, but if you suck at that, then the 400 and so on.
this is the truth, however elite long distance training and racing is very very difficult and so respectable-as is elite sprinting
