Of course she cares what people think, why is she writing a blog? I don't take any issue the subject matter, she is attempting to give a view into the life of the professional runner. Unfortunately it's poorly written and contrived. Every running blog I come across has this un-self-aware voice of narcissism. I don't know how you avoid it, but it makes for a crappy read.
