For the past two years I smoked nearly a pack a day of cigarettes and didn't run. At the end of this summer after running zero miles all summer I started training and quit cigarettes,. In just three months I got down to a 35:30 10k and 16:44 5k. What could this imply about my potential or future times with another year of consistent training and not smoking?
