If someone in their early 30s showed up this year and ran a 10.10 in the 100m Dash at the US champs out of nowhere, could they realistically get a shoe contract with any real financial weight behind it? Or is an older 10.1 guy pretty much a pointless investment and thus unlikely to get any kind of compensation/funding?
Or is 10.1 not worth anything these days from a shoe contract standpoint no matter how old you are unless you are a teen?
