Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to running and trying to figure out what is a good time to shoot for for Philly half next Sunday?
I just ran the Staten Island Half as a tune-up at 1:24:59 and I have dropped about 5 lbs since then.
I ran a decent workout yesterday: 1x1600,1200, 800, 400, 400. Rests (3:30, 3:00, 2:30, 2:00, 1:30) and hit (5:33, 4:07, 2:42, 1:09, 1:11).
Also, did a 6 mile tempo on Tuesday at 6:20 (On a treadmill, no incline) and the this wasn't a crushing workout.
I was going to shoot for a 1:22-1:23 but do you think that I am sandbagging a little bit, is a 1:20 out of reach?
