What do you guys think? It uses the elite and sub-elite cutoffs from NYC, which I know are probably a little slower than what LetsRun considers elite and sub-elite, but forget that for a second. This is a category that probably the majority of active users on this website fall into.
I thought it was probably worth mentioning that a lot of elite runners (going by these cutoffs) also have full-time jobs. Find me a 2:49 girl who's making anything off of running. The 2:43 girls might sweep up some cash at regional USATF championships but are usually strongly overshadowed at any big race. Most women I know who have qualified for OTs work, but they do something related to running (shoe company, personal training, and so on) that makes it easier to train at a high level.
