Ask him if he saw last weeks Breaking Bad
I'm really hoping Walt gets away with all of it, how immorality trumps all the goop we rut around in everyday.
Jesse and Hank are going to run him down though. Maybe
Skyler will compromise her principles completely and sacrifice for her family.
No matter, there's no peace in sight.
Damn...got the post too late.
I did ask him if he thought a sub 2 hr marathon was possible clean or on PEDs. He didn't say no, but he said it would be another 2 years before we should talk about it. He also said that on PEDs, there is no telling how fast it will be run.
He wasn't too exciting, but I appreciate his willingness to share his experiences and answer questions. He seems to really like himself.
Someone asked if he still ran and he said he does an hour a day, plus another hour of cross training. He was super lean. Looked shorter in person than in video. Sad to see him walking with a limp. He mentioned having several surgeries.
where was he speaking?
But did he watch Breaking Bad?
He spoke at the Spartanburg Day School in Spartanburg SC as part of the opening events for the Eye-Opener XC races at Milliken Park. He basically discussed that his main goal in running was to see how good he could get, all the while touting his accomplishments.

You seem to have picked up some negative waves.
Do you grasp that a key point of having a celebrity speaker is for that speaker to "tout their accomplishments" as part of the presentation? It is a standard use of appeal to authority logic in which Mr. Shorter's presentation is given added credibility due to his historic accomplishments.
While what he says about running may be no more helpful or accurate than what I may say to those same children, those little day schoolers will remember better what Frank says as an authority figure than if I said the same things after finishing, for example, 21st in the Virginia Super Spartan mud run.
