Hi,
Last night I ran a tough 5K on an extremely hilly course. I didn't feel that great and ran around 20 seconds slower than expected (part of this may have been tactics - it was through narrow pavements and I got blocked in and swerved around getting frustrated...). I'm entered for a 10K tomorrow morning. Haven't done anything today - no strides or jogging.
Is there any point to running the 10K tomorrow, 36 hours later? I'm going on holiday soon and won't be starting another training cycle for a couple of months as I don't really do XC (prefer road racing, and the 10K is a season closer around here).
Would you do it, even if you felt apprehensive?
