Bloomberger,
I would rather use a Ouija board or tea leaves. At least that would give you a better chance than the zero this indicator proposes.

Maserati,
Have you seen Deutche Bank today? Looks like it is headed to a new 20 year low. So much for the criticism on your call awhile back.

he didn't make a call bearish or bullish - he said 'watch DB' without saying much more than that.
agip,
But if I recall correctly he was criticized when the stock went up. Regardless, interesting to watch the stock under pressure.
How's the running? I did some tempo runs for the first time yesterday, so making progress.

well I criticized what I thought was his bearish call on DB when the stock went up but he then said 'I wasn't making a prediction, just saying DB is important'
good to hear you are running fast.
I'm fine - running 30-40 a week with one mild workout instead of my regular 40-50 with two. Just relaxing through the summer. feeling good.
agip,
Good on your running as well. I ran 5 x 1,000m tempo with 2:00 rest. Trying to gradually increase length of run where I can do more substantial distances in the future. The times on the runs have been increasing without any real effort, so I guess that is improvement. We have the Idaho Senior Games in August, first week track and two weeks later road race. So, if the progress continues I will give it a shot.

Once again Igy I can say no more other than to watch DB.
Good-bye all.
...new 20 year low on Deutche Bank (DB) $14.75, down 51.56% past year.....
Maserati,
John Hussman is watching DB too, he is his Tweet from an hour ago:
"DB, CS wickedly leveraged. Draghi buying investment grade makes asset quality held by banks and public even worse."

Believe what you want.
Bloomberger,
That you can count on. No wavering from me.
The next big move in the market is down, not up.

agip,
I read an article in Barron's on the book you referenced yesterday "The End of Accounting and the Path Forward for Investors and Managers," by Baruch Lev and Feng Gu. The article in Barron's is entitled "Bridging the GAP in GAAP Accounting." My read was that there was an admission as well to the frailties of non-GAAP accounting. I also found it interesting that Lev discussed his theories nearly 16 years ago in a Barron's cover story "The New Math," November 20, 2000. The author of the Barron's article Jonathan Laing summarized it best "Maybe it's time for a new method that improves transparency of corporate accounting rather than seeking to delude investors."

You've been wrong for so long that you're bound to be right eventually. Way to stick to your guns, Igy!

I am chomping at the bit to say more, but I cannot. Hussman doesn't know the half of it. Yeah it's possible to make some money off it, but the real interest is geopolitical. BTW I cannot trade on my information. :(
Sally,
Can I say CHK, UNP, or SPLS?
Oh yea, you said bonds were a bad investment. In case you haven't notices TLT +12.274% year-to-date.
Way to go girl!
Give me some more advice, I'll go the other way!
Igy
Maserati,
I have been following DB since you mentioned it. It sure looks like what is going on in the Eurozone is a quick right to crack-up.
Igy
My advice has always bee listen to Igy, then do the opposite. It's a winning strategy.
Now please clarify your position on those 3 stocks so I'll know what to do.

Ah, yes, the "I'm smarter than everybody, but I can't prove it" guy. This guy's a bigger troll than me and Igy put together.
Sally,
CHK = lottery ticket
SPLS = slow trip to nowhere
UNP=it is now a long term hold
So you should:
CHK=buy as much as you can today
SPLS=dollar cost average monthly
UNP=sell today
Igy

Thanks. I'll email this to Jim Gorman to see if he agrees with you. I'm guessing he'll tell me to do the opposite. No surprise there.
