Raw materials should be cheaper as a result which will cut the cost of manufacturing. However, if this results in retail prices being cut we could see a deflationary spiral, the consequence of which is a lack of willingness to invest in the expectation that prices will drop further.
I can't see why the Fed is still talking about a hike.
