It was named based on a prediction by someone trying to look like a market guru years ago. Only to be proved they knew nothing about the future of the Market. And still, can't swallow their pride and admit up to this point they have been dead wrong.

It is a place where inexperienced investors come to talk of their great winnings trading E*TRADE accounts. Patting each other on the back.

Yes, about making money. Not stuffing their mattress.
The funny thing is that Igy believes active management is superior because the manager is constantly paying attention to what is going on. But Igy's clients are in trouble because he spends most of his day trolling on letsrun. He's not paying attention to his clients needs. No wonder so many of them have bailed on him.
Words of wisdom from the Gruntz making his daily big trades buying and selling 10 shares of the FANG stocks.
As usual, Igy has to make up stuff about others in an attempt to divert attention from his own inadequacies.

Oh Snap!
Whoops! SP500 up 16% from Gundlach's sell everything recommendation a year ago.
Once in a while these guys get a prediction right and then eat out on it forever. No cost to making predictions so they will keep doing it.

Predictions can move both directions.

It's a very good time to be in the market and has been for over 8 years.
LOL. I'm shocked that some people still put stock in that silly thing.
Yes, we should keep buying stocks that have zero organic growth like McDonalds, revenues below 2016. But they did add $6.5 Billion in debt buying back stock. Isn't that a good thing?
LOL. You are totally clueless. You sound like that Igy moran. Could there really be two of you?
I can tell by your verbiage you haven't reached thirty. Hey you out of momma's basement yet?
Oh, Snap!
