I am running my first half marathon in 7 weeks. I have been seriously training since beginning of April. Up to 30mpw. My days look like this typically:
Monday: Recovery run ~3mi at 9:00/mi
Tuesday: Easy run ~4mi at 8:00/mi
Wednesday: mile warm up, 2 x 1600m at 6:40/mi with 800m jog recovery, 2 mile jog cool down
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Tempo run - 20min at 6:50/mi 20min jog at 10:00/mi
Saturday: 90 min cycling easy
Sunday: Long run 10-12 miles
I am going to keep increasing until I am around 38-40mpw around September 15ish, hold for two weeks, then do a taper the week before the hallf.
Does everything look ok with the schedule? What would be your suggestions for editting my plan? I just made it myself
