44 yo, 148 lbs, 6'0". I use the Nike Streak LT (formerly Streak XC) for daily training and racing up to and including the marathon distance. Occasionally I rotate into something else 1-2 runs per week. Normally I use that opportunity to experiment. Last year it was the Saucony Virrata. Good shoe but the drop was too similar to the Streak. This year it's the Adidas Adios Boost. Seems good so far but have just started with them.
The Streak has been the go-to model for several years now. Love it.
Training - New Balance 890
Racing - New Balance 1400

the world is a big place - I have a pair of streaks - I can use them on grass/dirt for up to 5k - after that the slamming just kills me. But you train in them?
I weigh just 135 too.

The lesson to be learned is, if you want to run competitively for a long time then keep the extra weight off.
age: 68 5'10" 158lbs
Early version of Nike Frees
Saucony Kinvara
Skechers Ride 3 (going to try the go runs next)
Brooks Pureflow (first pair of Brooks ever)
Yeah, I train in them - maxing out a bit over 100 mpw.

5'7 160 53 yrs. not so skinny, but skinnier that 5 yrs ago. Adidas adios or everything. Regular trainers just seem so clunky
I use the Kinvara for racing only. Tried training in them and my legs just ache too much.
I rotate Brooks Ghost and Hoka Biondi.
Next race is a 50k trail that I will wear the Ghost.

Is that the shoe you use when you enter races against 10 year olds?
