I'm 19 and only started running this past fall when I went off to college. As I've only been running for such a short time, I've focused more on the 5K than anything else. 5K PR is 19:07, which I'll admit is not great, but I'm looking to improve.
I've gotten up to running 35 mi/wk comfortably, though it's all been easy mileage so far. I've looked into Summer of Malmo, but it seems geared toward higher-mileage runners than I. What is the best way to train over the summer to improve my 5K time?
