yeah me too. I run twice every day, sometimes 3 times out of compulsion. I just keep running until I'm exhausted and sleep. I used to have some speed but now all I do is slog. I keep telling myself I'm going to start doing some speed work I'm afraid of it because every time I have tried before I get injured.
strength = speed
Your mile PR should be about 25 seconds faster than your 5K average pace though. You don't coast through a mile, it's supposed to hurt like hell.
