Last week's workout, run on a track in moderately windy conditions, at 5000' altitude:
4 miles in 24:01 (6:00 pace)
***3 minutes jog rest***
3 miles in 17:52 (5:57 pace)
***2 minutes jog rest***
2 miles in 11:46 (5:53 pace)
***1 minute jog rest***
1 mile in 5:37 (5:37 pace)
Workout felt pretty relaxed and in control. I guess the last mile was relatively hard.
I'm racing a half marathon on Saturday, about the same altitude, but with nearly 1000' downhill and almost no uphill at all. What do you predict for my time?
