The girls of Centro Nation are all waiting to shriek and scream...
They're saving it up.
The difference in cadence between Lagat and the guy who was running behind him was just incredible.
Honestly, I'm more surprised seeing how fast Evan Jager ran than by the fact that Lagat ran an American Record...
1. loving this english guy. think he was calling the boston meet a week or two ago as well. thank you track gods for finally listening to us. passion. incredible! "technically its not a world record because the iaaf does not consider this an event, but im calling it a WORLD RECORD what the heck!" awesome.
2. lagat lays down after the race?! i mean i know hes old but ive never seen him do that. guy is getting old no doubt. i hope like hell he is clean. im a fan.
3. when they zoomed in on lagat lying on the track, how f'ing big does the nike swoosh need to be? really nike? lance, oscar, DRUGS, MONEY, EVIL, a little self indulgent arent we? at some point i HAVE to believe that we will talk with our wallets so to speak and move on to other companies letting nike know it is not god, a god, or anything more than just another athletic company.
4. i love watching meets online! i dont have cable and this espn3 online junk is great. its just like being at a real track meet. newsflash! there is a LOT of downtime at a track meet. watching the meet with the filming of aimless nonsense in between events is just like being at a real track meet.
wtf are we watching? catholic boys high school? how specific can we get? is this part of the american everyone gets a trophy thing?
I think this is the FIRST meet I have ever watched online/on tv where I didn't get frustrated with the coverage and announcing. I actually saw EVERY lap of EVERY race and was able to watch Jen S put her clothes on after the PV - LOVED IT!
Tim Hutchings was amazing in calling the races - GREAT pick up ESPN!!!!
BREAKING: Leonard Korir not going to Paris! 11 Universality athletes get in ahead of him!
What is the threshold that separates a "hobbyjogger" from a "sub-elite" runner?
Hicham El Guerrouj is back baby! Runs Community Mile in Oxford
What is the most stupid running advice you've ever heard?🤣(It can be funny)
Are Asics, Saucony, and New Balance envious of Brooks, Hoka ,and On?
