...Which was farther than the winning throw in the championship section!
I had hoped to do another virtual scoring today, but Cornell is hosting a meet that's not scheduled to finish until late (not that I'd expect many leading Ivy marks from that meet), and Penn Relays results aren't yet up on tfrrs?!
Results from the Cornell meet are up (and on tfrrs), but Penn Relays results are still not on the Ivy performance list.
And there *were* a few good marks at today's meet. Ailish Hanly HJed 1.78 and now leads the Ivy list. Hercules Stancil (7.42) and Hillary Holmes (5.97) moved to second on the LJ lists, and Dan Scott popped a 15.27 to take the same position in the TJ.
Ryan Woolley stands in the fourth spot (now--remember, Penn results aren't up) in the IH with 60.33, and Larry Gibson (400, 48.51), Mina A-A (HH, 14.09) and Zach Zeller (HH, 14.42) all are at third. For now.
It was kind of windy today so the HH and LJ/TJ marks might not be too impressive, but the HJ and times in the lap races are legitimate.
There were a lot of wind-aided marks this past weekend in the sprints at the Cornell, Yale, and Brown meets.
Question - any word on Rutger Admirand from Cornell? Is he injured?
I probably won't get to my potential scorings until tomorrow (or this afternoon at the earliest) as I have other things on my plate for today.

Admirand is down in the Penn results as having run the second leg on Cornell's 3:11 4x4. Whether he got injured in doing that, I don't know.
And regarding the absence of Penn Relays results from the tfrrs listing: perhaps Penn simply didn't submit them to tfrrs (yet)? I mightn't have expected that, but obviously there's a lot to do in administering the meet--maybe they just haven't gotten around to it, what with everything else they have to take care of.
Thanks - I only asked because I do not see him as listed in individual results anywhere in TFRRS.
Ithacan - Wooley is still 4th in the 400H as none of the times from the Relays were a seasonal best in that event (it was rather cool weather when the event was run on Thursday AM). However, the marks I do remember in the field events (Mozia's 63-0 in SP, McLean's 15.95m TJ) are not incorporated in the TFRRS listings yet. Also, none of the relays are in either, and there were some stellar relay times in the men's 4x1 and 4x4, and women's 4x8. This will be fun to add them in on my end...
Admirand is somewhere around 30th in the 800 listing, IIRC.
He was definitely injured at indoor Heps--I remember watching him hobble around after his fine performance in the 500--so maybe they've just started bringing him back. Possibly relay-only at Heps? If healthy and fit, he'd certainly make an impact, running a fresh relay leg...
The Penn Relays results are now incorporated into the conference listings. Geez, why didn't they do that earlier when I was trying to work on my event listings at 8am?

I removed from the top 8 rankings men that had zero marks in outdoor 2013

Brilliant, fun.! Thanks for all your work throughout the season(s). Particularly this spring, with so many events (e.g. multis) lightly contested and so few fair-weather meets, your rankings give a much better idea of how things stand.
Add in Princeton's splits (I know, they're not official) from Penn, and I'd think you'd have to call Princeton co-favorites for this weekend. The return of Robbins certainly helps Cornell's chances, however.
[Take a look at the Princeton *women's* splits, too. Yeah, PU looks like it could be a contender... I'll say this: if either meet comes down to the relays, the Tigers will be tough to beat.]
Now that the PR results are incorporated in the Ivy list, I'll hope to get a virtual scoring done this evening (unless someone wants to do it earlier?). I'm leaving work early today (no, not for that reason) and should have time to get the virtuals done before turning in.
Updated potential scoring for the women.

Right, here's the last virtual scoring before Heps, based solely on marks that appear on the tfrrs listing.
Please remember that these are not predictions, just a snapshot of the performance list.
I'm not listing fractions.
And, though the Penn Relays helpfully listed splits for some teams in some events, individual performances on relays are not taken into consideration here.
Scoring everything for the men: Cornell 196 (71 on the track/20 in relays/100 in the field/5 in multi), Princeton 102 (40/28/24/10), Harvard 98 (49/0/49/0), Columbia 79 (73/5/1/0), Dartmouth 66 (33/10/23/0), Penn 64 (22/14/28/0), Brown 59 (21/14/8/16), Yale 17 (1/2/14/0).
Based on what we saw at Penn, Princeton figures to score a lot more than 40 points in individual track races. But even if they were to gain 40 (and Cornell to lose all 40), if Cornell executed in the field, the title would belong to the Big Red. A hundred points in the field (*not* counting decathlon) is ungodly...also maybe unlikely, but the trend is obvious. The return of Robbins, Cornell's javelin thrower, was major news from this past weekend.
The relays are screwy, as usual, but the individual track events are also tough to call: not just the 10K, as usual, but the 1500/5K as well (zero points in those two events for PU?).

On the women's side, here's what I got from scoring all events: Cornell 144 (74/16/54/0), Columbia 121 (71/12/38/0), Harvard 110 (65/14/19/12), Princeton 106 (53/18/28/7), Brown (19/0/50/0) and Penn (16/19/34/0) 69, Dartmouth 67 (33/5/19/10), Yale 23 (10/6/5/2).
Cornell's "win" here is paper money: it includes a projected 20 points in the 3,000m. I'm sure the Big Red would love to see AD'Ag get a speed workout in this year, doubling the 800/1500, but that does seem unlikely.
Again, based on what we saw at Penn, Princeton has to be a bet for more track scoring. And who knows what increased scoring (from Salander, yes, but also from others) is possible for Harvard's talented crew?
I truly see this as a four-way coin flip (is there such a thing?), with the meet coming down to the relays.
hey BRF.
Just a note Princeton's Mt SAC times never made it to the tfrrs listing. (5K and 10K)

Much thanks. That makes a difference! Based on the Mt. SAC marks, Princeton's men gain a point in the 10,000 and *six* points in the 5,000; and their women gain four points in the 5,000. In each case, Cornell's virtual scoring is unaffected.
Nice catch!
And of course all of this ignores what we saw in relays last weekend. Princeton's guys run 7:21 in the 4x8 and 9:41 in the DMR, and they're projected for a grand total of two points in the Heps 800/1500? Yeah, sure.
Well, Callahan is rumored to be injured again, which was why he didn't run at the Relays...
Also, I'm a little scared on the health status of Salander. Essentially no marks since March, and one attempt at a heptathlon that she didn't complete due to NH in the HJ. Perhaps she is healthy enough to compete for this weekend...
Any thoughts on relays?
IMHO - I think Princeton has locks in the men 4x4 and women 4x8 and Cornell a lock in the men 4x1, while Penn and Harvard will edge out wins in the women 4x1 and 4x4 (respectively). The men 4x8 I think is a toss-up between Columbia, Princeton, and Cornell.
